Mismatched mint green and pea green formica countertops, dull white cabinets, blinding yellow walls, and a peeling linoleum floor said "let's eat out again". The cabinets were perfectly functional and appropriate for the house but needed revitalizing. Typical of mid-century homes, there was no dishwasher nor a defined space for one. With some innovative thought, we installed a built-in stainless dishwasher that blended seamlessly with the other appliances, new fixtures, and new hardware. Elegant granite countertops, new tile, and new paint created a kitchen that was the envy of the neighborhood. The listing agent was truly overwhelmed when 70 people attended the open house.
