ABOUT
MICAH AND PAULA LEEN
I’ve always had an issue with my weight and understanding what I could
eat and what I couldn’t eat. Actually, I guess it wasn’t an understanding of
what not to eat or what I shouldn’t eat but more what I
could eat that I actually wanted to eat because, let’s face
it, nobody wants their taste buds to know that they’re on a diet,
OKAY!?
After losing over 65 pounds working out with my fabulous
trainer,
Exercise Matt and as a member of “SkyLab” on season three of
Bravo’s Work Out, I'm trying to stay faithful to my new healthy
lifestyle. And I know I'm not alone. I have been lucky enough to be
recognized and told some pretty amazing stories about how my televised
journey inspired others to lose weight as well.
When I watch cooking shows in search of recipes that are
delicious and good for me (whether it’s Rachael Ray, Bobby Flay, or
Paula Deen), while I know that the food will taste fantastic, I also
know that it might not be the healthiest thing for me
(I'm looking your way, Savannah).
That’s where Paula Leen comes in.
The recipes we prepare here and chat about are all the fabulous comfort-type foods that you want to
enjoy (and already do enjoy), but created in such a way,
via healthier ingredients and methods, to help you maintain (or
obtain) a
comfortable waistline without wasting your time or disappointing your taste
buds.
With fall weather on its way, we'll be craving comfort food more than
ever.
We here at PaulaLeen.com will help you make your best dishes, better for you!
Enjoy y'all!
